Founded in 2014, Middle Center Productions, LLC is dedicated to female-led and family productions that highlight underrepresented voices, giving them a platform to be seen and heard.

Founder & President: Sharon Contillo

 

Sharon Contillo is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, and producer with a passion for amplifying diverse stories across multiple genres and mediums. She is the founder of Middle Center Productions, serves as President of Women in Film & Video New England (WIFVNE) and Board Member of Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI). Sharon has built her producing career alongside a 29-year Fortune 100 career at IBM, earning the IBM Golden Circle (top global performer, 2023).

"The Hello Girls" - Prestige historical feature film about 223 American women recruited to serve as bilingual telephone operators with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in World War I France. Written and produced by Sharon Contillo. The screenplay has been endorsed by Dr. Elizabeth Cobbs, author of The Hello Girls: America's First Women Soldiers (Harvard University Press); by Mark Hough, the attorney who won Congressional recognition of the Hello Girls' veteran status in 1977; and by Hello Girls descendants who have provided life rights and historical materials. Institutional endorsement by The Doughboy Foundation.

"Rewired" - AI-Uprising Techno Thriller, When a rising commander's suppressed memories begin to resurface, he discovers he was abducted and rewritten by the regime he serves and now must expose the system before thousands more are erased.

 

"Ornaments" - Animated feature film currently in pre-production, based on Sharon's children's book "The Little Christmas Ornament" (available on Amazon)

Screenwriting Awards

Feature scripts "Madam President," "Sandwitched," and "Ornaments" have received industry recognition. Sharon has written eight additional feature screenplays spanning historical, horror, romantic comedy, family comedy, and science fiction.
