Middle Center Productions projects stretch across many mediums such as feature films, animation, shorts, commercial and printed work.

 

Middle Center Productions Executive Produced “Jack Goes Home” written and directed by Thomas Dekker and starring Britt Robertson, Rory Culkin & Natasha Lyonne.

 

Middle Center Productions Produced, “Curls”, written and directed by Sharon Contillo as a public service short film about body dysmorphia in young girls.  The movie won an award at the Best Short Film Competition film festival in 2020.

 

Middle Center Productions is currently in development with “ORNAMENTS”, an animated feature film based on the book, “The Little Christmas Ornament”.

 

The children’s book, “The Little Christmas Ornament” was written by Sharon Contillo and available on amazon in paperback and kindle. 

 

Sharon Contillo received screenwriting awards for her feature scripts, “Ornaments,” “Madam President” and “Sandwitched”.

Middle Center Productions was formed in 2014 by Sharon Contillo to write, direct and produce family and female-led content.  Our objective is to extend the media platform for women, those who identify as women and nonbinaries so they and their stories can be seen and heard.

Sharon Contillo is an award-winning filmmaker.  She founded Middle Center Productions, LLC, to focus on female-led and family productions where she highlights the under-represented giving them a platform to be seen and heard.  Sharon serves as the President of non-profit, Women in Film & Video New England (WIFVNE) and board member of Women in Film & Television - US (WIFT-US). 

Recent awards: Best Shorts Award 2020, Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Grant winner 2019, IBM Master Storyteller Award 2019.

She has won awards for her feature scripts, Madam President and Sandwitched.  Sharon wrote, produced and starred in four IBM commercials made for trade shows and conferences around the world.  She won first place at the IBM WebSphere Technical Conference for her short film, SIGN.   Her feature-length original animation script, Ornaments is currently in pre-production and based on the youth chapter book titled, The Little Christmas Ornament which is available on Amazon.com. 


Among her other writings, Sharon has written five other features that expand genres including horror, romantic comedy, family comedy, and science fiction.

Sharon has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island.  She studied filmmaking and writing at the New York Film Academy and ScreenwritingU.
