Logline:
When an over-worked mother of two teenagers promises her dying father that she will unconditionally care for her witchy elderly mother  -- even if it kills her  -- she must decide, break her promise or lose her family.

Synopsis:  When mom moves in, sanity moves out!

LINDA LOPEZ promises her dying father that she will unconditionally care for her
witchy, elderly mother, then quickly regrets it when GLORIA moves in. Gloria's overwhelming health and daily demands along with being the “bitch mother from hell”, sends Linda's normal life into total chaos.

When Linda absentmindedly leaves her son stranded in a bad section of town then loses control of her teenage daughter, her husband, EDDIE, demands that Linda do something about her mother or he’s taking the kids and leaving.

Gripped with fear about the possibility of losing her family and the heavy weight of breaking her promise, Linda enlists the help of best friend PATSY. The two “Laverne and Shirley types” resort to wacky tactics to covertly oust Gloria from the home without breaking her promise to her dead father.

But Gloria’s on to them and digs in, vowing to SEBASTIAN, her trusted African Grey parrot, that she will never live in any wretched nursing home -- she will keep Linda right where she likes her -- under her thumb!

Linda’s no match for Gloria and not brave enough to speak honestly. So Linda and Patsy concoct a final outrageous plan to once and for all make Gloria want to move out and restore peace to Linda’s home.

Perhaps some promises are meant to be broken?

Mothers may drive us crazy, but that is normal because they love us. As much as how ironic that sounds, mothers really do love their children. Even if sometimes they can get a bit too much, all they want is for us to be happy. We just need to have more patience and understanding when it comes to our mothers. They always want to know what is up with us because they feel like we are forgetting about them since we have our own lives now.
